Deploy the Calliente application on Android with Microsoft Intune.

This guide explains how to deploy the mobile application Calliente on Android devices using Microsoft Intune and the Managed Google Play Store.

This procedure is intended for organizations that manage their Android devices through Android Enterprise, whether in work profile mode or in fully managed device (Device Owner) mode.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that the following conditions are met:

  • An active Microsoft Intune subscription
  • The Managed Google Play is properly integrated with Intune
  • Android devices are enrolled in Intune via Android Enterprise
  • You have the necessary administrative rights
    (at minimum the Intune Administrator role)

Step 1: Approve the Calliente application in the Managed Google Play

  1. Sign in to the Microsoft Intune admin center
  2. Go to Apps > Android
  3. Click on Add
  4. Select Managed Google Play app, then click on Select
  5. In the Play Store window, search for Calliente
  6. Click on the application in the results, then click on Select
  7. Then click on Sync (at the top of the page)

Once the synchronization is complete, the application will appear in the list of Android apps in Intune.

Synchronization may take a few minutes before the application becomes visible.

Step 2: Assign the application to users or devices

  1. In Intune, go to Apps > All apps
  2. Select Calliente
  3. Open the Properties tab
  4. Click on Edit next to Assignments
  5. Click on Add group
  6. Select the target user or device group

Then set the assignment type:

  • Required: the application is installed automatically
  • Available for enrolled devices: the application is optional and visible in the managed Play Store
  1. Click on Next, then on Create

For a global deployment, you can choose Add all devices instead of targeting specific groups.
